Mars Deutschland again certified as "Top Employer"

This year, Mars has once again been certified as a “Top Employer” in Germany.

For the sixth consecutive year, Mars Deutschland is among the 118 best employers to receive this prestigious award in 2013. In the three categories of “Career Development”, “Training & Development” and “Primary Benefits”, the international CRF Institute awarded Mars four of five possible points. In the other two categories of “Secondary Benefits & Work-Life-Balance” (e.g. vacation allowance, flexible working conditions, communication channels) and “Company Culture”, the company received a rating of 4.5 points.

Recognition for a company culture guided by principles

“This award verifies that we consistently live our unique company culture, one that is guided by our Five Principles of Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency and Freedom. We give our associates space where they can operate independently, and within that framework, they are offered a variety of individual career opportunities”, says Eva Maria Metzl, P&O Director for Mars Petcare in Germany.

Ten years of the “Top Employer” award in Germany

The CRF Institute is an independent certification organization, identifying top performers in the areas of human resources, leadership and strategy. In Germany, the CRF Institute has been awarding the “Top Employer” certification for the tenth year now. Only companies meeting their strict criteria will receive the ”Top Employer” certification, which follows an in-depth survey and audit process.
