LOVE STRUCK: Manchester Couple Marry after Meeting at Social Circle Members Event

Over 20 members of Social Circle, Manchester’s Premier Social and Adventure Network along with the businesses founder will be attending a VERY special event indeed on 12th October 2013.

The marriage of Social Circle members Caroline Slack and Peter Jennings is to take place later this year following their two and a half year courtship after first meeting at an event hosted by Social Circle Founding Director Stephen Sutherland in 2010.

The event where the soon-to-be married couple met was a champagne tasting evening which took place at Circle Club in Central Manchester. Stephen Sutherland (who recently married Louise in December 2012) explained that over the 5 years Social Circle has been trading he has seen hundreds of new friendships, as well as numerous relationships, form amongst his members. In fact, Steve met his now wife Louise at one of his own events 2 years ago!

Steve Sutherland, Social Circle’s Founding Director commented:

“I set up Social Circle to address the needs of local professional people whose social life may be flagging. The reason this may be is if friends have married, had children or people may be from out of the area. My Manchester group includes a wide range of single and married professionals from mid 20 years to mid 40 years of age. The real purpose of Social Circle as I see it is for members to meet new, like-minded friends as well as enjoying over 100 free member events each month.”

He went on to explain:

“Whilst Social Circle is in no way a dating service I have seen so many of our members meet their ‘significant other’ at one of our events and end up settling down together.”

Caroline and Peter’s wedding is to take place in the stunning surroundings of Shrigley Hall in Cheshire and due to the number of Social Circle friends attending there will be several tables to accommodate their fellow Social Circle members.

Social Circle organises fun activities for professional people, including social events, outdoor activities and weekends away.
