The wait is finally over! Now you can experience one of the most groundbreaking movies of all time like never before as Jurassic Park debuts in stunning 3D on April 5, 2013. Steven Spielberg’s award-winning cinematic franchise, with full-size animatronic dinosaurs by the legendary Stan Winston, CGI dinosaurs by ILM and based on the best-selling book by Michael Crichton, generated nearly $2 billion combined at the worldwide box office and featured groundbreaking effects that changed the art of movie-making forever and have still yet to be surpassed, 20 years later.
To help celebrate Jurassic Park 3D Stan Winston School of Character Arts (SWSCA) is releasing never-before-scene videos and images of the making of the full-size animatronic dinosaurs featured in the film, including T-rex, the Raptors, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus and the Dilophosaurus (aka Spitter).
In these behind-the-scenes exclusives you will get an unprecedented peek at how Stan Winston’s live-action dinosaur team created full-size prehistoric puppets and transferred them to the big screen.
