Rare Citroen Mehari Receives Restoration from NJ Specialist

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Two rare Citroen Mehari vehicles are the newest residents at EuroCar Imports, a specialty Citroen restoration garage in New Jersey. The off-roader utility cars are in the hands of Noel Slade, an expert Citroen mechanic with more than 20 years experience.

Slade offers total body restorations, rebuilds and upgrades for Citroen cars and other select vintage makes and models.  One of the Mehari vehicles is receiving an engine upgrade while the other will be restored from head to toe by Noel and his team.  The Mehari receiving the total restoration is getting a brand new bodyshell – they are plastic!  Many pictures will soon be posted on the EuroCar website - http://www.citroenimportservices.com

Custom restoration options include galvanized frames, custom interiors including seats and interior door panels, tires, shock absorbers, electronics, grilles, audio systems and more.

Slade and his team have turned retro Citroen cars into modern promotional vehicles for businesses, daily commuters for patrons and even mobile food vans with fully functioning kitchens!

“It is very rare to even have one Mehari to work on, but we have two,” said Noel Slade of EuroCar imports.  “It’s a testament to the meticulous and detail oriented work that we have built our reputation around.”

Slade has a following of fans and customers from around the globe.  Most recently, he completed a custom right-hand drive Citroen Truckette for a customer in Australia.
