Progressive wine-pairing experience with Tuscany’s Marchesi Antinori and Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Col Solare.

Seattle, U.S.A. - -In a departure from traditional wine dinners, ART Restaurant’s manager Jorge Castillo and Chef Jelle Vandenbrouke have prepared a progressive-style dinner on Friday, March 29, 2013 with winemaker Marcus Notaro of Col Solare Winery. Instead of the typical sit-down dinner and wine-pairing menu, Jorge, Chef Jelle and Marcus will lead a small group of 20 guests to various locations throughout ART Restaurant and Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, including several behind-the-scenes areas. The six-course dinner begins at 6:30 pm and is USD 99.00 per person.

Food and wine lovers will start with a behind-the-scenes peek at the Chef’s kitchen for a welcome reception, before moving on to a luxurious Hotel suite for the first course. The dinner will progress to an elegant ballroom foyer with sweeping views of Elliott Bay for the second course, and then guests will proceed to ART’s private dining room for the entrée and cheese course. The culinary journey ends alongside the wine wall with dessert. Courses will be paired with wines from Tuscany’s Marchesi Antinori and Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Col Solare. Other special touches include a tasting of the winemaker’s grappa.

The dinner is one of the special wine events held in ART Restaurant to celebrate Washington Wine Month. During ART Lounge’s popular Wine Wednesday complimentary wine tastings from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, the following Washington wineries will be featured: March 13, Jones Family Vineyards; March 20, Chateau Ste Michelle Winery.
