Connie Ragen Green, Santa Clarita Author and Entrepreneur, Nominated for Small Business Book Award for Third Year

The Weekend Marketer - Say Goodbye to the ’9 to 5’, Build an Online Business, and Live the Life You Love, penned by Connie Ragen Green and published by Hunter’s Moon Publishing, has been nominated for the 2013 Small Business Book Awards in the category of Marketing for the third year in a row.

The author lays out a plan for how someone can go from working for someone else to working and making a living on her own. She calls this idea of transitioning from full-time employee to self-employed a “Weekend Marketer.”

Having worked as a teacher and residential appraiser, Connie Ragen Green decided in 2005 to leave it all behind and find work she was passionate about. After trial and error, she stumbled across online marketing.

The Small Business Book Awards celebrate the best business books that appeal to entrepreneurs, small business owners, CEOs, managers and their staffs. The Awards also recognize key resources supporting business book authors and the publishing industry.

The Small Business Book Awards, now in their fifth year, are more than just an honor;they include a prestigious online event in which readers, fans, book lovers and the small business community nominate and vote on their favorites.

Connie Ragen Green has published seven books previous to this one and continues to be a leader as a marketing trainer and online entrepreneur.
