Piano Teacher’s New iPhone app is a Hit with Students
Piano lessons can be drudgery for a lot of kids, many of whom quit out of boredom and frustration. But an innovative new app by a respected piano teacher turns piano lessons into a fun game for students.
Piano teacher Andy Fling has been teaching piano lessons for over twenty years. Some of his students are well disciplined and practice regularly. But many of his students would struggle with what they perceive as the tedium of practice.
So it became Andy’s obsession to make piano lessons fun.
“I’ve taught thousands of kids to play piano over the last twenty years, and learned a long time ago that kids learn best when they’re having fun.” says Fling “Over the past few years, I noticed that many of my best students loved video games. When we combined their natural gaming instincts with learning piano, their results skyrocketed!”
Fling created an iPhone app called “iPiano Tutor” as a test. It allows his students to quickly fall in love with learning how to play piano. The results were astounding for his students. All of a sudden, piano lessons became a delight, rather than a chore.
The key for making the piano lessons fun was tapping into the strategies of video game developers, motivating students to practice while making it a rewarding experience.
“The results for piano students have been nothing short of remarkable” gushes Fling, “We are so encouraged with the early progress by our students using the iPiano Tutor, we’re rolling out full-scale development of the app.”
The iPiano Tutor app is being developed by Jiffy Software, the world’s largest iOS developer. Fling is raising money to fund the full iTutor Piano app through Indiegogo, the largest global crowdfunding platform.
Fling is offering generous incentives for people who become involved with the development of the iPiano Tutor app over the next 30 days. For as little as $25, participants can get Free Sheet Music for life.
Piano teachers also are highly motivated to become involved as well. In addition to Free Sheet Music for life, (including the Piano teacher and two of their students), they receive a lifetime membership in the teacher directory of Fling’s www.MakingMusicFun.net, the most visited website on the planet with a Piano teacher directory.
