Will head the global storage consultancy’s America’s operations

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. , July 19, 2006 — GlassHouse Technologies, Inc., the global leader in independent storage consulting services, today announced Josh Klein is the company’s new chief operating officer. The former EMC and IBM executive brings to GlassHouse more than 15 years of storage consulting experience.

Klein will be responsible for all GlassHouse operations in the Americas, including consulting strategy, sales management, and service delivery and execution. He joins GlassHouse following its transition from a mid-size storage company into a global storage services consultancy with 100 percent annual revenue growth.

“The market for high-end professional services in data storage is vastly untapped and underserviced,” Klein said. “This was a tremendous opportunity to join a market leader that focuses purely on delivering high-level services – from strategy and business requirements to outsourcing and managed services. I am very excited to be joining a great team.”

Klein is a former U.S. Navy Commander who served his country overseas in both Operation Desert Storm and the government’s global war on terrorism. He joins GlassHouse from EMC, where as vice president of consulting and management services he drove 400 percent growth of the company’s consulting business in the Americas region.

Prior to EMC, Klein was the distribution industries sector executive for IBM Global Services, where he achieved more than 150 percent year-to-year sales growth for the company’s Integrated Technology Services practice. Klein began his consulting career at Ernst & Young, where he was manager of business consulting.

“From his management of global consulting engagements at EMC and IBM, to his military service background, Josh brings incredible leadership and operational experience that will be extremely valuable to our clients’ experience,” said Mark Shirman, CEO of GlassHouse Technologies. “He will help GlassHouse continue its evolution and growth as the storage industry’s independent consulting and services leader.”
