Masters Mazda invite you to the exclusive launch event for the Mazda6

In celebration of the nationwide launch of the all-new Mazda6, Masters Mazda hosted an exclusive event at the end of last month. The Mazda6 was released on Friday January 25, and subsequently the weekend-long launch event was held from the 26-27 January at the Masters Mazda branch in Beckenham. Following the launch of the Mazda6 in Beckenham, Masters Mazda would like to invite you to try the new Mazda6 for yourself.
 
Based on the CX-5 SUV, the Mazda6 will feature the striking new “KODO – Soul of Motion” design which will be the standard for all future models of Mazda. The overall look of the car has been changed and made more dynamic, thanks to a redesigned front grille and bumper, with the contoured body leading to a spoiler at the back. That’s not all, however, because the use of lightweight materials in the construction of the 6 means that the car is more manoeuvrable and agile than previous models.
 
The interior of the Mazda6 is extremely spacious, thanks to the ergonomically redesigned cockpit. All the main controls are now within easy reach, and there is more space for the passengers too. The 6 is also one of the safest cars on the road, having been awarded a prestigious five-star Euro NCAP safety rating. This is due to the inclusion of an array of advanced technologies such as the award-winning Rear Vehicle Monitoring System, alongside more conventional features such as airbags and driver assistances.
 
The Mazda6 is available either as a Saloon or Tourer, but whichever you select, there are a wide variety of engines to choose from, including 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel ranges. The top speed attained by the diesel Saloon is an impressive 139mph, and all versions of the 6 will get you from 0-60mph in 10.5 seconds or less. Also included as standard across the range is the new SKYACTIV technology, which reduces CO2 emissions to just 108g/km for the Saloon version. It’s small wonder, then, that the Mazda6 has won the What Car? Car of the Year 2013’s Ultra-low-carbon Award.
