Treating Postnatal Depression Naturally: Victorian Mother Reveals How Medical Profession Failed Her

WEBWIRE

VICTORIA, Australia February, 2013 – 5 years ago Lee-anne Fairbairn, from regional Victoria, was diagnosed with Chronic Postnatal Depression 6 months after the birth of her second child.  She describes this time as ‘A dark world of sadness and suffering and it was a real struggle to get out of bed, let alone care for two very active youngsters’. Sadly as is the case with many women who suffer from Postnatal Depression, Lee-anne’s doctors did not have any effective options for a healing recovery pathway.  But in her heart Lee-anne knew that there must be a way to heal fully and was fortunate that a friend introduced her to Brandon Bays transformational book ‘The Journey’.

Lee-anne read the book early 2009 during the time of the Black Saturday Bush fires and really felt called to attend the Journey Intensive Seminar in Melbourne, she went feeling lost and had no expectations of what it might bring – she was just desperate to try anything to relieve her pain. “During the weekend we learnt about how The Journey process works to unlock and release cell memories during the transformation and forgiveness process work” she explains. www.wholeheartedwellness.com.au/

During that weekend, Lee-anne was able to overcome postnatal depression without medicine, letting the past go and welcoming love and joy into her life again.

Since completing the life changing weekend Lee-anne has:
·         Started her own business Whole Hearted Wellness, Hamilton, Victoria in 2010
·         Authored several successful children’s books
·         Run empowering family retreats to help other families who are struggling with being connected with each other.
·         Raised money to donate to the building and resourcing of a new school for children in La Gonave, Haiti
·         Become a trained ‘Journey’ practitioner so she can help others to heal completely to and live a fuller happier life.

The Journey Intensive is being offered in Melbourne on 9-10 February 2013. www.wholeheartedwellness.com.au/

Lee-anne urges people who have been searching for a way to heal postnatal depression naturally or to heal from a physical or emotional conditions in their life, to look beyond traditional medicine and take their healing into their own hands – just as she did several years ago.

“By being responsible for my own healing journey, I found a solution that no medical practitioner could provide – a lasting and loving relationship with myself and my family.  It’s such a gift.”
