Phoenix Mazda launches the new Mazda6 later this month

During the weekend of the January 26-27, 2013, Phoenix Mazda will host an exclusive event to celebrate the release the new Mazda6 which hits the roads on January 25. It is set to be an incredibly popular event and, as places are limited, motorists should register through the Phoenix Mazda website to guarantee a place at the event.
 
The “KODO-Soul of Motion” design, which will be used on all future Mazda models, will make its debut in the Mazda6. Inspiration for the model has been drawn from the successful CX-5 SUV and the dynamic style has been enhanced through the new front grille and athletic bumper, whilst defined lines lead through to the rear spoiler. The use of lightweight materials in the constriction of the Mazda6 means that the car is easier to handle and manoeuvre round tight corners and spaces.
 
A spacious and comfortable interior welcomes drivers and passengers alike. The cabin has been rearranged with space and convenience in mind, with the main controls being easily accessible in their position around the driver’s seat, making every button and switch you’ll need close by. After a serious of tough tests the car achieved a five-star EuroNCAP safety rating and, with the numerous airbags, Rear Vehicle Monitoring system and driver assistance functions, it is easy to see why.
 
Whether you opt for the Tourer or the Saloon variant, you’ll find a choice of 2.0-litre petrol or 2.2-litre diesel models available. All engines take you from 0-60 in no more than 10.5 seconds, with the diesel saloon delivering the ultimate top speed of 139mph. Each engine is matched with a six-speed gearbox. They also all use Mazda’s SKYACTIV technology to provide better fuel efficiency and torque and to reduce CO2 output.
