Romford Mazda welcomes you to the exclusive launch of the new Mazda6

With the official UK release of the new Mazda6 taking place towards the end of this month, Romford Mazda will host an exciting launch event. The special event will take place on January 26-27, after the release of the car on the January 25, at the Romford Mazda dealership. Places for the event are filling up quickly, so interested motorists are advised to book early online to avoid disappointment.
 
The inspiration for the new Mazda model, which will be available as a Saloon and a Tourer, was taken from the popular CX-5 SUV vehicle and will be the first to showcase the “KODO - Soul of Motion” design which will inform all later Mazda models. The new front grille, athletic bumper and aerodynamic lines add a fresh and exciting new look to the body of the car. By using lightweight materials in the construction of the Mazda6, the car is increasingly responsive and easier to handle in difficult driving situations.
 
Inside, the cabin has been rearranged in order to make the best use of space and create a more comfortable drive for up to five to enjoy. The driver is surrounded by all the main controls which make them accessible and the drive far more relaxing with all the necessary buttons in easy reach. Numerous airbags, Rear Vehicle Monitoring system and driver support functions have contributed towards the five-star safety rating from EuroNCAP and emphasise the Mazda6 as both a stylish and safe car.
 
A selection of 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines is offered with the Mazda6 on both the Tourer and Saloon models. They all take you from 0-60mph in no more than 10.5 seconds, with an ultimate top speed of 139mph with the diesel saloon. Each is paired with a six-speed automatic or manual gearbox, and Mazda’s SKYACTIV technology, incorporated into every engine, works to reduce CO2 emissions, fuel consumption and keeps cost down.
