Mack Mazda will host an exclusive Mazda6 launch event this January

To celebrate the official UK launch of the new Mazda6, Mack Mazda dealerships in Chelmsford and Braintree are holding a special event later this month (January). The car will be released on Friday, January 25, and the launch weekend will be held from January 26-27 at the dealer’s two locations. As places for the event are limited, motorists are advised to register early through the Mack Mazda website to avoid disappointment.
 
The manufacturer’s CX-5 SUV formed the basis for its development of the Mazda6, which displays the “KODO – Soul of Motion” design that will identify all future Mazda vehicles. A stronger look has been created by the new front grille and athletic bumper, with aerodynamic lines leading through to the rear spoiler. Mazda has constructed the 6 with lightweight materials, resulting in increased agility, cornering and manoeuvring.
 
In rearranging the interior of the Mazda6 compared to previous models, an increased amount of passenger space has been created. The driver’s position is encircled by the primary controls, placing every important button and switch within more convenient reach. After thorough testing, EuroNCAP has awarded the model a five-star safety rating, which is provided through supportive driver assistances, airbags and award-winning Rear Vehicle Monitoring system.
 
Whether you opt for the Tourer or the Saloon, a selection of engines is available with the Mazda6. Choose from the 2.0-litre petrol models or the 2.2-litre diesels. All will take you from 0-60mph in no more than 10.5 seconds, and the diesel saloon delivers the ultimate top speed of 139mph. All engines are matched with an automatic or manual six-speed gearbox depending on which model you choose, and they all cut fuel consumption and emissions using the new SKYACTIV technology to reduce costs as you travel.
