TestAmerica Has the Largest Network Capacity to Meet the Demands for Reduced Sample Volume

WEBWIRE

TestAmerica, the leader in environmental testing, announced today that over the coming three months it will reduce the sample size for a number of analytical methods under its Lower Volume Initiative (LVI) Program across their network of over 90 locations. The LVI Program offers clients the ability to significantly reduce water samples normally collected using the traditional 1000mL (1 Liter) volume containers.

TestAmerica’s LVI solution is a comprehensive program that offers clients the opportunity to collect lower sample volumes ranging from 60mL to 250mL for SW 846 8270 Semivolatile, including PAHs, SW 846 8081 Pesticides and SW 846 8082 PCB Aroclor methods. An additional benefit to clients is that TestAmerica publicly announced in December 2012 that they are the first environmental testing company to have U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) accreditation on the lower volume method for SW 846 8081 Pesticide and SW 846 8082 PCB Aroclor, using the SW 846 3511 sample preparatory method.

James E. Hyman, CEO of TestAmerica states, “LVI helps our clients by simplifying their tasks in obtaining routine water samples. LVI benefits clients with easy, efficient and streamlined field sampling, reduced shipping costs and minimized risk of bottle breakage. The new procedures demonstrate our continued commitment to improvements that make our clients’ work easier, and our more than 300 dedicated client service professionals stand ready to support the needs of each client. ”
