Rolls-Royce Motor Cars today officially announced the opening of a new showroom in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China.

With a floor space of 457 square metres, the new showroom is situated in the heart of Nanjing, with capacity to accommodate up to four Rolls-Royce motor cars. It is also equipped with an adjacent service centre, ensuring the ultimate Rolls-Royce experience for customers.

Nanjing showroom meets the increasing demand for Phantom and Ghost cars in the Yangtze River Delta region, underlining Rolls-Royce’s strong commitment to the Chinese market.

At the opening ceremony, Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, Regional Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Mainland China said: “Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is delighted to arrive at the capital city of the Jiangsu Province. As a pinnacle brand with a remarkable legacy of success for over 108 years, Rolls-Royce comes to dialogue with the glamorous past and present of Nanjing city, which served as national capital during six dynasties. With the fast emergence of international luxury brand representations in Nanjing, I believe Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, in partnership with Sime Darby Group, will boost the market demand to the next level for greater success in the future.”

China remained one of the most significant single markets in the world for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in 2012. Unique creativity is delivered through Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ Bespoke Programme to Chinese customers, which also witnessed substantial growth both worldwide and in China.
