Top kidswear is back at Pitti Bimbo
Spanish children’s brands keep their date with the iconic tradeshow, presenting new collections for Winter 2013/2014.
The 76th edition of leading children’s wear exhibition Pitti Immagine Bimbo will be held at the landmark Florence venue Fortezza da Basso from 17 to 19 January.
A total of 470 brands will be exhibiting collections over an area of 47,000 sqm at an event which expects to welcome 10,000 trade visitors. At the last edition, 34% came from outside Italy, with a strong showing from Russia, Spain, Germany, Turkey, France, the UK, the US and Brazil.
Pitti Bimbo is a global force in kids’ trends.
This time, 24 well-known Spanish brands are heading for Florence to take part, including Mayoral, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Nanos, Desigual, Bóboli, Barcarola, Cóndor, Paz Rodriguez, Losan and Pan con Chocolate. Cuquito, Unisa, Eli, León Shoes and Pasito a Pasito will be presenting children’s footwear collections.

Spanish brands like to keep a high profile at the show, where their collections come under scrutiny from the world’s leading buyers.
To keep Spanish kidswear top of mind in the Italian market, leading brands run advertisement features in prestigious trade magazines like Vogue Bambini, Bambini Collezione and 0-3 Baby.
Italy is currently the number-one export market for Spanish children’s wear, with sales worth almost €100m, accounting for 22% of the global total in this segment.
