OKI Donates Printers to Beautiful Foundation in Korea

TOKYO - OKI Data Corporation, an OKI Group company specializing in printer business, today announced that it has donated printers to the Beautiful Foundation – a nonprofit human services agency located in Seoul, Korea, as part of the agency’s Beautiful Store program.

The Beautiful Foundation was established in 2000, in the midst of growing interest in philanthropy, by Mr. Park Won Soon, the present mayor of Seoul. As a top-runner in social contribution activities, the agency runs various programs that support disadvantaged families in Korea. One of its programs, the “Beautiful Store” aims to provide financial aid and support to underprivileged children to make a positive impact on children’s future.

“OKI Data established OKI Systems Korea (hereinafter referred as OSKR) in 2005. With the purpose of developing corporate activities further rooted in the local market, the company decided to co-operate with the ‘Beautiful Foundation’ which is one of the most well-known nonprofit agencies deploying various social contribution activities mainly in Seoul,” says Dongjun Yoo, Managing Director of OSKR. “Going forward, we will further strengthen our relationship with the ‘Beautiful Foundation’ and take part in various programs to provide positive experience for children and prepare them for success.”

The company has donated monochrome LED printers, B411dn, which will be used at study support centers for children in Seoul.
