Exclusive content from top Latin artists available on Sprint Power Vision(SM) phones

Overland Park, Kan. - 07/17/2006 - In its ongoing commitment to providing its subscribers with the latest choice and flexibility in mobile entertainment, Sprint (NYSE: S) today announced two high-profile Latin music sponsorships - title sponsorship of the upcoming U.S. Tour of MANÁ, one of the most popular rock en español bands, and sponsorship of a new venture with Bad Boy Latino, a new music label created by Emilio Estefan and Sean “Diddy” Combs that showcases emerging Latino artists and is distributed by Warner Music Group.

The sponsorships exemplify Sprint’s commitment to servicing the Hispanic community by delivering Latin music fans with unique, Spanish-language wireless content, delivered via the high-speed Sprint Power Vision(SM) Network. Sprint’s Hispanic subscribers will be provided with direct access to top-notch artists via Sprint TV en Vivo, a first-time service available only on Sprint phones. Also, subscribers can enjoy exclusive content, like streaming music videos and over-the-air full-song downloads, including more than 15,000 Latin-related songs, through the Sprint Music Store(SM).

“We are excited about our agreement with MANÁ and Bad Boy Latino’s first artist, Christian Daniel, as it provides Sprint with the opportunity to connect with Hispanic music fans everywhere. From select Sprint Power Vision(SM) phones, our Hispanic subscribers will be able to experience the next wave of direct-to-consumer wireless content,” said Isaac Mizrahi, director of multicultural marketing for Sprint. “With these sponsorships, we will be able to deliver high-profile Latin artists right to our customers’ hands.”

MANÁ teams up with Sprint
Sprint is partnering with the legendary Mexican rock band MANÁ as a sponsor of their U.S. Tour. On July 10, MANÁ released the single, Labios Compartidos, from their highly anticipated Aug. 22 album, Amar es Combatir. Exclusive content will be made available via the Sprint Power Vision(SM) Network starting in August.

“MANÁ is very excited to be partnering with Sprint on their tour early next year as well as on the launch of their new album Amar es Combatir. Now MANÁ fans can have wireless access to the band’s new music, videos and other exciting behind-the-scenes material, including songs from their past albums - right on their Sprint phones,” said Angelo Medina, Band Management Representative.

Bad Boy Latino launches first new artist, Christian Daniel, on select Sprint phones
Through the agreement with Bad Boy Latino, Sprint will debut Christian Daniel’s single release, titled Dónde Quedarán, video and the self-titled album on the Sprint Power Vision(SM) Network before wider commercial distribution – a first in the U.S. mobile space. Puerto-Rican born Christian Daniel is the first singer to emerge from the Bad Boy Latino label, and his upcoming CD promises to bridge the gap of mainstream American music and traditional Latin ballads.

“I am very excited to be part of Sprint’s initiatives in the Hispanic market,” says Christian Daniel. "I love the idea of having my music, video and pictures available for my fans directly on their phones. As a new artist I want to develop a great relationship with the public from the beginning, and what better way than through Sprint Power Vision(SM)?”

“Sprint is featuring two unique artists - MANÁ, a very accomplished act, and Christian Daniel, a developing artist - to showcase the power of mobile entertainment,” said Steve Rogers, manager of entertainment marketing for Sprint. “Think of it as bringing back the legend and launching the star.”
