Author Steve Mycoe Announces That He Might Have The Answer To The Growing Pandemic That Is Obesity - ’Trick’ Yourself Into Weight Loss

If an overweight person doesn’t like dieting or exercise then ‘Tricking’ them self into losing weight by finding fun activities that burn Calories and changing their perceptions of food so they eat healthily could be the answer.

Bournemouth, Dorset – 21st Dec. 2012 – More than 1.9 billion people worldwide are currently overweight. That’s 38 percent of adults. At this current rate it is predicted that 26 million UK adults will be obese by 2030.

One important issue is that overweight people often hate exercise, they find it difficult to move in a comfortable way and feel embarrassed getting involved in conventional sports.

These issues are concerning enough however, they are even more worrying when you consider that the average adult who is relatively inactive has a one in three chance of getting cancer. That’s a better chance of getting cancer than winning the Lottery!

To put that into perspective, if you’re an athlete (or at least regularly active) you’ll have the chances of only one case of cancer in seven vastly reducing the probability of getting cancer. This is largely down to the quality of diet and regular exercise. Poor quality of diet is associated with increased risks of many types of cancer.

Changing perceptions is one of the quickest ways to lose weight naturally. Essentially ‘tricking’ ourselves into adopting a healthy lifestyle whilst having fun - without really being aware of it.

Athletes for example, don’t choose a sport because they necessarily enjoy it in itself, they choose a sport that makes them feel good because they are successful at it. Athletes don’t carry on with a sport they are poor at.

Of course, the book is not aimed at athletes but the everyday person who simply wants to lose weight and become more healthy without going through the pain of fad diets and conventional exercise.

Steve outlines fun activities that burn large amounts of energy (Calories) and build muscle. Activities that anyone can get involved no matter how big, small, fit or unfit. Essentially removing the ‘sacrifices’ that are associated with diets and gym membership.

Essentially never having to exercise again, no more gyms and no more diets.
