ITS to stock the revolutionary Dewalt Cordless Nailer

ITS, one of the UK’s largest independent supplier of professional power tools announces that it is to stock the new DeWalt DCN690M2 framing nailer. This revolutionary power tool can apply two nails per second, without the need of gas and is powered by an 18V Li-ion battery.

Director, Paul Hubbard said that the DeWalt DCN690M2 framing nailer is: “A very exciting new product from Dewalt that will appeal to a lot of people. It is hassle free, as you don’t need to clean it out, plus cheaper nails means the long term running costs are much less too.”

The DeWalt DCN690M2 framing nailer is battery powered with 4.0Ah Lithium-ion technology. (It uses just 2 x 4Ah Li-ion batteries). This cordless power tool will get through 600 nails per charge, which means that it offers both power and portability, making your work more efficient.

It has a distinctively angled magazine which means that it is designed for working in cramped conditions and places that are overhead or hard to reach. The depths can be easily adjusted which means that it can fit easily between a 400mm centre stud making it perfect for putting up timber frames, for roof battening, studwork, panelling, cladding and roof decking to name but a few.

It is powered by a brushless motor, making the tool lighter and smaller, (The DeWalt DCN690M2 framing nailer weighs just 4 kg) so it requires less energy to run and doesn’t need cleaning. What’s more, it costs less because you are only paying for nails, not fuel cells. Other benefits include an extra grip profiled nose, which provides a stable platform, giving you precision in your work. The tool has low vibration and noise credentials, which means that it is quieter to use and easier to control.
