Billed as the “largest and most senior meeting place for the HR community to congregate in 2013”, the HR Directors Business Summit offers the HR industry an opportunity to openly engage with C.B. Learning’s business development manager. John will be available during the event to discuss the latest trends in online learning as well as the current challenges around IT skills and developing talent.

John will be answering questions over his LinkedIn and Twitter pages in the lead-up to the event, which will take place on the 22 and 23 January. Feel free to get in touch with John to ask questions or arrange a time to meet during the event.

John said of the event: “I’m looking forward to meeting with HR directors from a range of sectors and industries at the event next month. It’s a huge event and there will be so many good opportunities to network and discuss the challenges that are present in HR today. I’m particularly keen to discuss talent management, online training from a business perspective, the operational use of training and why training should be personalised towards your organisation.”

The event will involve in-depth presentations and practical advice from industry experts across every discipline of Human Resources. Visitors across all types of HR roles will be able to schedule one-on-one meetings with solution providers and consultancies, and take part in workshops and discussions.

Speakers include Stuart Payne (Group HR Director at Dana Petroleum) and Jill Shedden (Group HR Director at Centrica).

In November and December John has been writing blogs, articles and column opinion pieces on the topics he will be on hand to discuss at the HR Directors Business Summit and these can be found on the C.B. Learning website’s media section. These pieces include: For HR and employees, online training offers positive change for the future; Will flexible work be the significant ‘people’ legacy of London 2012; and Is your training style equipped to manage today’s talent?.
