A Review of the Citroën DS3

There is a sense of personal style to the DS3. With the option of 11 body colours and nine roof graphics, you’re able to choose the design that suits your personal tastes. The DS3 comes with a choice of three dynamic engines, each of which are responsive to the needs of the driver and the conditions of the road. First is the VTI 120 petrol engine which has been paired with a smooth five-speed manual gearbox. This engine can power from 0-62 in an incredible 14.2 seconds and hit maximum speeds of 108mph, with little effect on the environment since it produces only 104g/km of CO2 emissions. If you prefer to drive diesel, then the EHDI-90 can shoot from 0-62 in 12.5 seconds, hit a top speed of 113mph, and produces just 98g/km of C02. If it’s top acceleration you want, then the EDHI-90 is able to go from 0-62 in 9.7 seconds and can hit a maximum speed of 113mph. Each diesel engine comes with the option of either a five or six-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic gearbox, letting you choose how you want to drive.
 
You won’t be disappointed with the technology available in the DS3 either, as it is of the highest standard and quality. Six speakers and an amplified subwoofer in the boot surround you and your passengers in sound, and the on-board computer and Bluetooth technology provided as standard enhance your experience on the road.
 
Six airbags, high performance brakes, Electronic Stability programme and ISOFIX anchorage points for child safety in the back ensure safety on the road, demonstrated by the DS3’s five-star EuroNCAP safety rating.
