Ally Financial and Hudiburg Auto Group Honor Oklahoma Military Families This Holiday
In cooperation with Operation Homefront, bicycles will be distributed to the children of local military families
OKLAHOMA CITY, — To honor those serving in the U.S. armed forces this holiday season, Ally Financial has teamed up with Hudiburg Auto Group in Oklahoma City to brighten the holidays for children of local military personnel.
In cooperation with the regional chapter of nonprofit Operation Homefront, holiday gifts will be made available for children of Active Duty and National Guard military personnel in Oklahoma. The event will occur on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Reed Center in Midwest City, Okla.
Upon arrival, each family will receive a holiday gift ticket; 100 tickets will be specially marked and can be turned in for a bicycle that will be assembled by the Hudiburg Auto Group team. Registration for the bicycles at the Hudiburg/Ally booth will ensure that children receive the desired bike size and color. Bicycles will be available for pick-up in time for holiday celebrations.
“The men and women that serve our country make sacrifices for those of us at home on a daily basis,” said Mike Kimmel, regional vice president, Ally Financial. “It’s an honor to team with Hudiburg Auto Group and show our gratitude in the form of holiday gifts for these deserving families"
“At Hudiburg Auto Group, it’s important to us to give back to our fellow Oklahomans, especially the military families who give up so much for us,” said David Hudiburg, president, Hudiburg Auto Group. “We are excited to work with Ally Financial and Operation Homefront for a second year to help provide a happier holiday to these children.”
In 2011, a similar event hosted by Ally Financial, Hudiburg Auto Group and Operation Homefront provided 30 local military families with holiday gifts and gift cards that could be applied toward holiday meals.
“It’s great to make the holidays bright for families of our Active Duty and National Guard personnel who do so much for our country,” said Operation Homefront Oklahoma and Arkansas Executive Director Carol Herricks. “We’re delighted for the support of Ally Financial and Hudiburg Automotive Group to provide gifts for these exceptional families and help ensure that their holiday is a joyous one.”
