CHICAGO, IL – December 6, 2012 – Susan Fredman Design Group and Susan Fredman At Home stores are giving back this holiday season by donating 3-5% of retail sales through the month of December to local organizations at each of their three locations in Chicago, Milwaukee and Michigan’s Harbor Country.

“We love giving back and supporting the communities that we live, work and play in,” says Susan Fredman, CEO. “You create possibilities that may not have existed for those you are helping and our challenge with this initiative was selecting just one organization in each location.”

The organizations selected for December 2012 giving include: Imerman Angels, based in Chicago; Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI; and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass, Inc., serving the Harbor Country area of Michigan.

Imerman Angels provides personalized connections that enable one-on-one support among cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers. The service is absolutely free and helps anyone touched by any type of cancer, at any cancer stage level, at any age, living anywhere in the world.

Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast (GSWISE) provides a quality leadership experience that meets the needs of girls in a fast-changing world. GSWISE serves over 28,500 girls, from kindergarten through twelfth grade, in and around Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their mission to build “girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place,” extends to all girls in the community.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass prepares children for the future by enhancing their strengths through new experiences and friendships with qualified volunteer mentors. They serve children, ages six through eighteen, in communities across the country and have served the Berrien and Cass county community since 1967.

“We are thrilled to help further the missions of these important community organizations and provide an additional voice in support their efforts,” says Fredman with a hopeful smile, “So we welcome you to shop with us and share in this experience this month.”
