Jean-Pierre Fieux has been appointed Group Senior Vice-President Human Resources at Atos Origin.
Paris, 12 July 12 2006 - Jean-Pierre Fieux has been appointed Group Senior Vice-President Human Resources at Atos Origin, which has 47,000 employees in 40 countries around the world. He reports directly to Eric Guilhou, Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Atos Origin Management Board. Jean-Pierre Fieux will be responsible for designing and carrying out the Human Resources strategy, which includes hiring staff (an estimated 9,000 people in 2006), developing skills and talent, and ensuring that the Group’s human resources are aligned with its global growth strategy.

During his 14 years with Schlumberger, Jean-Pierre Fieux, 44, acquired skills in managing human resources around the world, leading teams in Paris, Houston, Caracas, Jakarta and Dubai. For the Oilfield Services business, he served as human resources manager in various regions, including Latin America, Asia and the Middle East, before his appointment as Vice President Human Resources for Schlumberger Oilfield Services, which has 50,000 employees in over 100 countries.
