Hallmark Finds Thanksgiving Cards are More Likely to be Mailed
Send warm Thanksgiving wishes with these helpful note starters
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Thanksgiving is a meaningful time to reconnect with friends and loved ones, especially if they live far away. According to Hallmark Research, more than 70 percent of Thanksgiving cards are mailed, the highest percentage for any season.
“Thanksgiving cards are an easy way for people to reconnect with friends and family,” said Kristi Stanley, Editorial Director in Season Cards. “Even if they can’t be together at Thanksgiving, a card is a wonderful way for them to tell someone how much they’re loved and appreciated.”
290 Thanksgiving Hallmark cards are available for all types of relationships including friendship and long distance friendship. One card reads, “You’re in my heart - Even though we can’t share this Thanksgiving, you’ll still be in some of my favorite memories of the season.” Another reads, “Miles may come between us ... but they’ll never change how close we feel. Thinking of you at Thanksgiving.”
“Thanksgiving is an opportunity to encourage others to pause and give thanks, while letting them know how thankful you are for everything they do,” said Laura Bogart, Associate Product Manager in Season Cards.
