BUMP Network Announces New Chief Operating Officer: Shannon Day
SAN DIEGO, Nov. 8, 2012-- BUMP Network, the company providing revolutionary SaaS based data, registration, transaction, and membership management technology, announced today that Shannon Day has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Day is a sales, marketing and operations leader with 20 years experience capturing new business, engineering business processes and driving innovative marketing campaigns that deliver profit growth and heighten customer engagement. Day has spent the last 10 years with Microsoft as a sales and marketing leader who most recently led a sales team responsible for driving $150M in revenue by defining and implementing sales processes, revitalizing accounts, and penetrating new target enterprise customers. Some of the customers that he worked with include Boeing, Starbucks, Nordstrom, Wells Fargo, Schwab and Visa.
Prior to this role, he was the US Chief Strategist leading the transformation of Microsoft to the multi-billion dollar business of Cloud Services and defining operational excellence for this new market. In his spare time he also founded Radar Sports and brought to market the Swim Radar, which established itself as a premier sports mobile app and built a client base of satisfied endurance athletes around the world. Day is also an Ironman Triathlete.
