The Holiday Craft & Gift Expo Moves To Franklin
The Holiday Craft and Gift Expo is being held at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex at 60th and Ryan Road in Franklin from Friday, November 23rd through Sunday, November 25th.
Franklin, Wisconsin - The Holiday Craft and Gift Expo is moving from the Wisconsin State Fair Park to the Milwaukee County Sports Complex at 60th and Ryan Road in Franklin. This year’s show will run Friday, November 23rd through Sunday, November 25th. The annual show will feature an exciting selection of artists, craft and gifters, food and entertainment. Admission for adults is $5.00, children 6 – 12 are $2.00 and children under 6 are admitted free of charge. Parking is also free.
Jim Torbenson, the show’s owner and promoter stated, “The Franklin Planning Commission has been terrific. They have welcomed us into their community and have been most accommodating.”
Visitors will be able to find original art, handmade crafts and gifts for any budget. According to Torbenson, “This is an ideal opportunity to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts for family and friends and to find great items for a home or office. In addition to the wide variety of exhibitors, I think the customers will love the exceptional quality they’ll find. And, the free parking is a big plus this year.”
Recording artist Carmen Nickerson will perform along with pianist Kostia (of the Daryl Stuermer Band) and friends throughout the weekend. The music will include soft jazz, country and some holiday favorites. Plus, The Main Street Song & Dance Troupe under the direction of Director Jeremy Nickolai will perform holiday favorites on Saturday and Sunday. Reverend Raymond and the Chain Smoking Alter Boys will perform on Saturday and Sunday.
