Dave Maxx of The Soul Xperience Events, is proud to present Sip & Soul Swing, an evening of spirits, socializing, soul music and social dance.  Tour the Soul Swing Xperience.
 
(Chicago, IL) – In search of an upscale after work event with flair?  Look no further.  The Soul Xperience pairs enticing wines with a taste of Chicago-inspired couples dance to create an evening of excitement and ambiance.
 
Dave Maxx is a nationally renowned Master Dance Instructor from Chicago’s South Side. He was introduced to Steppin in the early 90s, and credits his development to his mentor, the legendary stepper, Calvin Barnes.  With nearly two decades of experience in the Steppin industry, Dave founded the instructional steppers network, MAK 3 in 1999, and is credited with pioneering the national Chicago Steppin movement in 2001.  His latest venture, The Soul Xperience, combines Neo Soul, Smooth Hip-Hop, and Cool Social Dance with upscale venues and haute fashion to create an elite social experience for Chicago’s urban professional.
 
As described by Dave,  Soul Swing®  dance is an enjoyable way to appreciate good music, and an excellent forum for social interaction with urban professionals. The Soul Xperience promotes that interaction outside of the traditional stepper sets. In his words, "Dance is the vessel through which one can express themselves, emotionally binding to a song’s melody and bringing the words to life by capturing each defining moment in a different movement.  With Soul Swing, you can live a song, if only for a few moments. It is here that the true power of music is exposed”.
 
Sip & Soul Swing with Dave, Nov. 1, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Fine Arts Building, 425 W Randolph, Suite 732, Chicago, IL. As an honored guest, you will partake of some of Dave’s favorite wines paired with succulent hors d’oeuvres and decadent chocolates to intrigue the palette.  Following the wine tasting, you will be immersed in new era in social dance, Soul Swing®.
