“Group Senior Scientists”: Top researchers and scientific experts

New Award at LANXESS

Leverkusen, Germany - “Group Senior Scientists”: LANXESS has created a new award to honor top researchers and scientific experts for their achievements, to generate motivation and prospects for careers in research and development and to direct our focus towards innovation and premium strategy. In 2012, for example, the first awards were distributed in the fields of process technology and rubber.

The Decision
The “Group Senior Scientist” candidates are nominated by the BU and GF heads, and an expert panel narrow this down to the initial selection. The final decision is made by entire Board of Management, who selected four innovators as “Group Senior Scientists”.

“In future LANXESS hopes to strengthen its position as a technology group. To do so we need an innovative atmosphere within our departments – and employees like you, who ensure the technological basis for development. This is essential to our success,” said Chairman of the Board of Management, Axel C. Heitmann.
