MasterCard Europe appoints Régis Folbaum General Manager of MasterCard France

Paris – MasterCard Europe today announced that Régis Folbaum has been appointed to the position of General Manager of MasterCard France, effective October 15th. Régis Folbaum will be based in Paris (France) and will report to Roberto Tittarelli, Divisional President Western Europe, MasterCard Europe. In this role, he will continue to drive forward MasterCard’s strategy for growth in France, by focusing on the deployment of new and innovative means of payment in the French market and strengthening the vital relationships between MasterCard and its partners.

Régis Folbaum was most recently Associate Principal for the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Co in France. Prior to joining this company, he held several positions at AGF –Allianz Group, and Goldman Sachs. Régis Folbaum is a graduate from ESSEC Business School and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Régis Folbaum is replacing Emmanuel Petit, who after four years as General Manager for MasterCard France has moved to another position within MasterCard Europe.
