Best Buy Stores In Chicago To Offer Low-Cost Constellation Electric Supply

Customers can save up to 25 percent off ComEd’s current electric rate and receive a $25-$50 Best Buy gift card

CHICAGO - Best Buy customers in the market for the latest in energy efficiency products and services can enhance their savings through convenient in-store purchases of low-cost Constellation residential electric supply.

The companies today announced an expansion of a pilot program launched earlier this year at the Best Buy Bucktown store that will extend sales of Constellation residential electric supply to 12 additional Chicago Best Buy locations.

Customers signing up for Constellation residential electric supply could save up to 25 percent off ComEd’s non-summer electric supply price to compare rate.*

In addition to the rate savings, customers who select a 24-month electric supply contract will receive a $50 Best Buy gift card; a $25 gift card will be awarded to those who sign up for 12 months.

“Our pilot program at the Best Buy Bucktown store exceeded expectations and we’re thrilled to expand to Best Buy stores across Chicago,” said Michael Wajsgras, vice president of new business channel development for Constellation. “Consumer shopping for electricity is on the rise across Illinois. Our affiliation with Best Buy makes it even more convenient for homeowners to save on electricity rates and also receive a Best Buy gift card.”
