Neuilly-sur-Seine, – Thales’s financial communication has been rewarded during the 4th Financial Transparency Awards ceremony held in Paris on 4 October. The Group received the award of the “Best progression among SBF120 companies” and ranked second in the “Large Caps” and “Industrial Goods & Services” companies.

Organised every year under the supervision of a scientific committee composed of all representatives of the financial community, the Financial Transparency Awards reward the best practices of listed companies in terms of access to regulated financial information.

This year the Financial Transparency Awards went to 9 companies out of a panel of 170 companies listed in Paris. Companies’ practices were assessed on four financial communication documents (the annual registration document or “annual report”, the half-year financial report, the regulated information part of the corporate website and the press release for annual results) and according to 85 criteria enabling to assess accessibility, precision, comparability and availability of financial information.

“This award recognises and rewards Thales’s commitment to provide a regular, transparent and clear financial information to its shareholders, the financial community and all its stakeholders ” commented Pascal Bouchiat, SVP Finance of Thales.
