Skellee Online Stories Birthday Gift For Children on 12 October
A birthday gift for children in the form of two free online stories, can be found at Kindle on 12 October from the Skellee Rescue Service series.
The first two online stories in the Skellee Rescue Service series of children’s books are about to become freely available for one day, 12 October. This date has been chosen because it is the author’s birthday and she wants to gift these stories to children.
AnneMarie Callan, the author, explained …
“I have had such tremendous pleasure writing the books as well as learning to draw and paint, that I want to thank children around the world for inspiring me to entertain them with Skellee. At the moment I am working on Book 3 of the series and loving every minute of all the work that producing the books entail. I can honestly say that I am working with my passion!”
"Just this week it was brought to my attention the horrors of video games that are available for young children to see and this was one of my main reasons for creating a modern day folklore hero for young children,” she said.
The books, Abbie Skellee and Bobby Skellee can be downloaded directly from Kindle. They have been placed on Amazon USA and hopefully they will automatically be available in other locations.
There is a Kindle app which is freely available to download on any computer, phone or other digital device. Details of how to do this on the Skellee website.
These two children’s books form part of the Skellee Rescue Service series theme, of which there will be 26 books. Each Skellee character is named after one of the letters of the alphabet. The online stories are geared to children in the age bracket of 2 – 7, although there have been some excellent feedback from older children too!
For parents, grandparents, and anyone putting a small child to bed, these online stories will ensure that they fall into sleep happily.
