Turkey portraying a huge eCommerce opportunity

According to the German-based market research provider yStats, numbers of sales among eCommerce websites within the Turkish market are falling when compared to the number of unique visitors per site.
 
With this in mind, the reason for this decline in sales has become apparent. eCommerce websites are not grasping their online potential fully, and are becoming lost in the rankings of search engines. Through a series of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) stages, a website’s online visibility greatens, giving an advantage over the competition.
 
BFM states that in 2010, the number of Internet users in Turkey totaled roughly 35 million, accounting for 45 percent of the country’s population. Internet users in Turkey were among the most engaged users in Europe, representing the 7th largest online audience. The number of domestic eCommerce transactions with domestic and international cards in Turkey reached nearly 92 million in 2010 and volume of transaction reached 15 million TL – This is a huge market that’s waiting to discover your services.
