Sterling Publishing Completes Acquisition of Morningstar Australasia Trade Publishing Assets
Sydney. Sterling Publishing Pty Ltd (Sterling) and Morningstar Australasia Pty Limited, a subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. (NASDAQ: MORN), a leading provider of independent investment research, today announced that Sterling has completed the acquisition of Morningstar’s Australian financial services trade publishing business.
The acquisition includes the titles InvestorDaily, Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) – incorporating SMSF – and Investor Weekly. Sterling has also acquired a number of established events for the financial planning and institutional investment sectors, including the annual Wraps, Platforms and Masterfunds Conference and the annual Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Strategy Day.
