MESA implements SmartPhone Application Technology Powered by CGA Ontario and CampusCurrent.

Toronto, ON (October 2, 2012) - Management and Economics Students’ Association (MESA) is proud to offer a unique and innovative mobile application that offers students instant access to campus information from their smart phones.

The free application provides management and economics students at MESA with access to information about campus events, academic dates, campus phone directory and campus news on their Android, Apple and BlackBerry devices.

“MESA is ecstatic to have a mobile application - we have seen a large movement from the bulky desktop computers to mobile smart phones over the years,” said Wesley Chan, president, MESA. “This new app will help us better communicate with our students and therefore offer better avenues to learn about all the opportunities MESA and our school has to offer.”

“The mobile app will be an integral tool for MESA to develop a mobile presence on campus,” added Chan. “Students can now update themselves on what’s going on on campus anywhere and anytime. We at MESA are thrilled to have this opportunity to team up with CGA to enhance the students’ experience at university.”

The MESA Mobile App, which will be available to a number of post-secondary schools across Canada, is a result of the strategic sponsorship and alliance with the Certified General Accountants of Ontario (CGA Ontario) and the CampusCurrent Mobile Platform.
