WEBWIRE

Orlando, FL - A favorite holiday for many, Halloween brings many scares and other thrilling activities to the International Drive area. Whether you were a Central Florida resident or just passing through, there were plenty of things to do on International Drive during the fall holiday season, a highlight being Universal Studioʼs Halloween Horror Nights.  It’s never too early to start planning for next year so you don’t miss out on the adventures.

In its 22nd consecutive year, Halloween Horror Nights returned to Universal to thrill and scare its patrons. Halloween Horror Nights occured during the evening throughout September and October every year, and featured haunted houses, scare zones, and a live action show, “Bill & Tedʼs Excellent Halloween Adventure”, which contained parodies from TV, movies, music, and pop culture. Many of the thrill rides Universal Studios is famous for were also open during event.

This yearʼs event featured seven horrific houses along with scare zones throughout the park - you never knew when a zombie or other ghoul would show up right behind you. Featured houses this year included nightmares based on the walkers from AMCʼs The Walking Dead, a twisted house of horrors from Alice Cooper, the next dimension of terror from the Silent Hill series, and a magic trick gone horrifically wrong from Penn & Teller.

Tickets for this special event are sold every year at the gates or in advance. To learn more about Halloween Horror Nights, or to learn about other events happening on International Drive, visit www.internationaldriveorlando.com.
