Leading Colorado Residential Architecture Firm, Godden | Sudik Architects, Earns Several Coveted Awards at This Year’s El Paso County Parade of Homes

Building on its growing reputation as a leading residential architecture firm, Godden | Sudik Architects garnered six Industry Awards of Excellence as well as the coveted People’s Choice Award at this year’s El Paso County Parade of Homes for the “Residence 4020” home the company designed for Century Communities. 

Held every year as a showcase for home builders in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area, this year’s event featured twenty-four homes from eighteen of the area’s finest builders.  Entries ranged in price from $200,000 to over $1,000,000.  Entered in the $300-350K category, Residence 4020 is located in the Meridian Ranch Community in Peyton, Colorado.  The award-winning home--a two-story floor plan with over 4,200 square feet of open living space--features a variety of unique designer living amenities such as a kitchen with large island, a spacious walk-in pantry and butler pantry, study, owners entry and an inviting informal dining area.

The Industry Awards of Excellence are decided each year by a panel of independent judges from within the industry.  Residence 4020 received an impressive total of six Industry Awards of Excellence, including: Best Kitchen, Best Master Suite, Best Floor Plan, Best Landscaping, Best Craftsmanship and Best Overall.  The highly valued People’s Choice Award is given to only one builder in each price bracket, and is selected by Parade of Homes attendees. “We are always humbled when we receive such revered awards,” Godden said when pressed for comment. “We are certainly pleased that this great home won seven awards at this prestigious event but we are even happier for our valued builder partner, Century Communities.”
