The new BMW 3 Series Touring arrives at John Clark Group showrooms

After a highly anticipated showcase at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this month, the brand new BMW 3 Series Touring will be making a UK-wide debut at authorised dealerships, including the John Clark Group of dealers in Dundee and Aberdeen, Scotland.
 
At the biennial European motoring event, which runs from September 20th to 27th this year, the German manufacturer will proudly display the newest addition to its versatile 3 Series range. The Touring model has been given a more dominant design and a higher number of standard features throughout, staying true to BMW style with the classic shape and curves of a luxury car.
 
The new model claims a class-leading load space of 495-litres, and a robust towing capacity for trailers, caravans and sports equipment. All of the engines available for the 3 Series Touring are turbocharged for increased power, using BMW’s EfficientDynamics and its innovative Start-Stop system to produce a generous level of fuel economy for drivers. Dependent on the model and engine selected, the new vehicle can boast a 0-60 speed of only 5.6 seconds, delivered by up to 258bhp.
 
To offer even more convenience, the 3 Series Touring features split rear seats, which can be folded down in several combinations to suit the amount of luggage or passengers in the cabin. The rear-wheel drive chassis provides a perfect 50/50 weight balance across the body of the vehicle, allowing for more confident grip and handling on a wide variety of road surfaces.
