Doctor Sees Little Hope for Healthcare; Offers Free eBook as a Solution
SANDPOINT, IDAHO. Dr. Mark William Cochran overcame 24 years of crippling arthritis and become a triathlete and marathoner. He knows firsthand the huge problems the healthcare system faces today. Ask him and he will tell you that he sees little hope for the future of healthcare. At least, that is, until we change our thought process about health. Cochran stresses that he is not a doomsayer. He has a solution that he outlines in an award winning book, and he is offering the book free this week to anyone who wants it.
“Our problem is that we don’t have an effective, caring healthcare system. We have a disease industry,” says Cochran, a holistic health and wellness expert, acclaimed writer and speaker whose private practice is in Idaho. “We constantly get mixed messages about what’s healthy and what isn’t. As a doctor, I am reminded on a daily basis of the confusion and helplessness that come from our complex, disease-based approach to health.”
In response, Dr. Cochran wrote Oby’s Wisdom! A Caveman’s Simple Guide to Health and Well-being. The central theme of the book is that, although medical intervention plays an important role in health, we must first call on what he refers to as, “the Doctor Within.”
Cochran has teamed with Amazon to offer Oby’s Wisdom free in their Kindle store this week. After Saturday, Sep 22 the book will revert to its regular price of $9.97. The free download is available here.
