Scott Robinson Honda Confirms, American Honda August Sales Are Up 59.5 Percent

Scott Robinson Honda is excited to confirm, American Honda has reported August 2012 U.S. sales of 131,321 units which is an increase of 59.5 percent compared with August 2011 (an increase of 53.6 percent based on the daily selling rate*). The Honda Division posted August 2012 sales of 115,675 units, an increase of 57.9 percent compared with August 2011.

“August has been another successful and great month for Honda,” says Darren Tass,
General Manager.  Adding, “ It’s clear that the demand for Honda is still going strong and we cannot wait to see what next month will be like.”

The Honda division posts very strong August sales of 115,675, which is its best August in two years.

The Honda Accord posted its second best sales month of the year at 34,848 units, up whopping 89 percent while the Honda Civic sales were up 106 percent with 24,897 units sold.

The CR-V continues its sales success with 23,877 units sold which is a 44 percent increase over the previous year.

The Odyssey sales posted more than a 61 percent increase from August 2011, with 12,750 units sold.
