Pittsburgh Senior Care Agency Reaches Publishing Milestone

Pittsburgh Senior Care began writing articles just a few months ago- articles designed to help people get the right care for their senior family members, including services like in home care.  But according to the owner of the Pittsburgh in home care agency, what began as a few articles has blossomed into a publishing milestone, marking the beginning of something extraordinary for the agency. 
 
Mary Donohue, owner of this branch of the Comfort Keeper’s group of senior care agencies, said that 20 articles for such a small agency is impressive in just a few months, but that they’re only getting started;
 
“We love helping people - yes, we are a business, but we’re in the business of helping families, which just so happens to be our passion.  So we wanted to find a way to aid people in finding the right information about getting care for an elderly family member, and publishing articles is an excellent way to do so.”    
 
Pittsburgh Senior Care’s website currently features 20 articles and other content related to senior care, including education about special programs that can help families to pay for much needed services.  This includes programs offered by the Veteran’s Administration and those offered under the National Alzheimer’s Plan. 
 
Corinne Fello, another Comfort Keeper’s group owner, said that there’s a great deal more to offer local Pittsburgh families in the way of education and resources;
 
“There’s always more that we can do to help our communities, and education is one of the most important services that we provide.  Articles are an excellent way to spread the word about special programs, funding sources, information about medical conditions like dementia and much more.  The internet is such a great place to publish this information because of the potential for sharing, which is exactly what we’re hoping for.”
