Green Energy Development Announces A Joint Venture Partnership With EcoVox Energy For Waste to Energy Development In Eastern and Central Europe

WEBWIRE

Johns Creek, Atlanta, GA – AUGUST 28, 2012 – Green Energy Development (“GED”), a premier global developer and deployer of renewable and sustainable energy projects, including biomass/waste-to-energy, solar, and wind energy solutions and technologies, announced that it has successfully entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with EcoVox Energy, Corp. for the development and deployment of waste to energy facilities in Eastern and Central Europe.

GED and EcoVox are currently developing projects in the Czech Republic and Poland, with projects in several other Eastern and Central European countries planned.   Under this Joint Venture, the design, engineering and development of its first project in Czech Republic has begun and the Joint Venture is in final negotiations for the Power Purchase Agreement with the local utility in Czech Republic and Poland.

GED believes that Eastern and Central Europe are ideal opportunities for the development of renewable energy in general, and specifically waste to energy solutions given the energy and waste issues these territories experience.    Further, the economic expansion and growth of these countries will create ever-increasing energy demands and increased waste.  GED’s waste to energy solutions can play an important role in managing both of these issues concurrently.  GED and EcoVox, under this newly found Joint Venture, expect to announce renewable energy development and deployment projects in a number of cities in Eastern And Central Europe within the next several weeks.

David Ames, GED CEO and Chairman, stated “we are excited about our joint venture relationship with EcoVox and look forward to bring renewable energy and specifically waste to energy solutions to Eastern and Central Europe.”  Further, Mr. Ames stated  “we have the utmost faith and confidence in our partner EcoVox and look forward to working with them to develop more than ten (10) waste to energy projects already in our joint project pipeline, as well as many other projects currently in the planning phase for Eastern and Central Europe.

Jon Jaskiel, EcoVox Energy President & CEO, stated “We are very pleased to be formalizing our on-going relationship with GED which will amplify our forward momentum in developing waste-to-energy project deployments in our target market geographies”. Jon added “There are substantial synergies between the EcoVox Energy and GED teams that I am confident will bring significant benefit to our project developments in Eastern and Central Europe.”
