Benchmarking Success Expands into Europe and America

Benchmarking Success, the specialist supply chain benchmarking and consulting business, a division of Logistics Bureau, has announced the expansion of their business into Europe and to the Americas.

As of July 1, 2012, Benchmarking Success (BMS) has extended a License to sell and market its unique supply chain benchmarking services for North and South America to Oliver Wight Americas. This Licensing agreement has been signed on the back of a similar arrangement that was entered into just over12 months ago with Oliver Wight in Europe (Oliver Wight EAME).

The alignment of both businesses is an obvious one in the area of directing business improvement. This natural synergy has led to the development of this relationship. Both businesses are focussed on, and have built a long history on guiding large and small organisations to supply chain and business best practice. Oliver Wight is the largest worldwide consultancy of its type offering best practice knowledge transfer for organisations, assisting them to implement best practices within their business and in particular around integrated business planning or what has previously been known as S&OP.

Similarly Benchmarking Success provides the starting point though which businesses are able to understand how their supply chain is performing in terms of both cost and service, that is, how well the supply chain is servicing customer needs and how cost effectively, compared to similar supply chains. The unique database developed by Benchmarking Success over the last 19 years, now consists of nearly 900 organisations from which a comparative data set is typically drawn.

Benchmarking Success is pleased to announce this development and expansion of its business base with consultants now in Europe and North and South America, supplementing those engaged in using the Benchmarking Success range of products and services in the Asia Pacific Region.
