Nomadix Announces Agreement with Lucent Technologies for Global Network Support Services
Nomadix to Leverage Lucent´s Comprehensive Technical Support for the Company´s Global Footprint of Wireless Gateways
JUNE 29, 2006, NEWBURY PARK, Calif. - Nomadix, Inc. (http://www.Nomadix.com), a leading supplier of intelligent network devices and interconnect services for guest access, digital cities, and carrier HotSpots, today announced the expansion of an existing agreement with Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU) to provide global Remote Technical Support (RTS) and Repair and Exchange (RES) Services for the Nomadix Service Engine™ (NSE) The NSE is the core infrastructure component for Nomadix´ public access Wi-Fi solutions, and Lucent´s RTS and RES will become cornerstones of Nomadix´ Business Services. As part of Nomadix Interconnect Services™ (NIS), Nomadix Business Services support the more than 26,000 total NSEs installed worldwide.
