Corporate Office HQ reveals Chick-Fil-A corporate office contact information

Columbus, OH, August 9, 2012 - Corporate Office HQ, the web’s online leading corporate office search engine, has release complete contact details for Chick-Fil-A, Inc. after Chick-Fil-A headquarters shut down their online contact form.  The move from Chick-Fil-A comes after a public firestorm over comments made by President and Chief Operating Officer Dan Cathy about what he believed to be a traditional family.

Cathy, son of company founder S. Truett Cathy, made the following comments on July 16 in The Biblical Recorder:

“We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit,” Cathy said. “We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.”

In addition,  Cathy was also exposed for donating money to Family Research Council, which has been identified as a hate group by Southern Poverty Law Center.

The aftermath has resulted in two opposing sides.  Chick-Fil-A supporters include Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum and Rev. Billy Graham.  Huckabee promoted August 1 as Chick-Fil-A appreciation day and encouraged people to support the chain via his TV and radio shows.  Santorum included “see you at Chick-Fil-A”at the end of a recent email to supporters.  

On the other side, a protest was scheduled for August 3 by gay marriage supporters.  This protest was twofold.  First included a “kiss-in” where gay and lesbian couples were encouraged to take pictures of themselves kissing in or near Chick-Fil-A locations and post the pictures to Facebook.  Second, people were encouraged to donate $6.50 (the approximate price of a Chick-Fil-A meal) to the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).

Politicians have also become involved.  Boston mayor Thomas Menino has promised to attempt to block Chick-Fil-A’s expansion into Boston.  Chick-Fil-A has also lost a business relationship with the Jim Henson Company, who’s Creature Shop had previously been providing toys for Chick-Fil-A children’s meals.  The company has donated their profits from the partnership to GLAAD.

Chick-Fil-A has become overrun with feedback from both sides and has shut down the comment form on their website.  In response, Corporate Office HQ has released Chick-Fil-A corporate office contact information including mailing address, phone number, fax and email.
