Marriage Counselor in Maryland Announces New Website

(Bethesda, MD August 7, 2012) Marriage counseling expert Dr. Joe James has announced the revamping of his website. “The purpose of the new site is to provide an interactive and educational experience for the visitor” explained Dr. James.
 
The new site has features such as checklists to determine if a relationship is troubled enough to require professional assistance and what category of happiness a relationship falls into. “This is actually an important feature from a clinical perspective.” said Dr. James “The way you treat a couple who in a friendship type relationship is going to be very different than the way you would approach a couple in a detached relationship”.
 
Other features on the website include informative articles on topics diverse as how to get the most out of couples therapy, five ways to instantly improve communication and how to establish goals for marriage counseling. Coming in the near future will be information on weekend and online workshops for couples looking to improve their relationships.
 
Finally, the newly revamped site includes a technology that allows the home page to be updated frequently instead of just as a static page. “I wanted to be able to share new information with people as soon as possible or to be able to comment on current events which may involve marital problems, infidelity or related topics. This feature also allows for comments from the readers which creates more a community/social network feel to the site”.
