Excitement is mounting amongst fans of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series, and for good reason. The official trailer for the film adaptation of Child’s bestselling One Shot was released a few weeks ago, shortly before Child’s latest Reacher e-short story, Deep Down, became available.

“Last year Child released Second Son, a Reacher e-short story that continues to sell prodigiously at BooksOnBoard,” remarked Nathan Johnson, BooksOnBoard’s Director of Operations. “Even without the publicity that the film is garnering for the Reacher series, we expected Deep Down to be a hit.”

The film, simply titled Jack Reacher, stars Tom Cruise as Child’s famous ex-military investigator, and will hit American theaters on December 21.
