Whistler Launches New Skincare Company, Whistler Naturals, Into The Booming Eco-Market

Whistler Naturals launches into the world of natural skin care providing both men and women with source for spa quality products, locally made and tried, free from harmful chemicals, and at a price the average person can afford. Started by three local Whistlerites as an alternative to chemical laden skincare products that pollute our skin and environment, Whistler Naturals offers something not easily found in today’s market; affordable high-quality products. The goal, according to the owners: Enough with the overpriced products that pretend to be natural by putting a leaf on the label and saying ‘paraben free’.  
 
With natural and organic based ingredients like Avocado, Spinach, Carrot, along with active botanicals like amino acids and proteins, it is easy to see how Whistler Naturals’ non-traditional, eco- and vegan-friendly skincare blends are formulated to improve your skin.  Co-owner, Lisa McGregor, says, “After going completely natural a few years ago it became frustrating that more companies were trying to ‘green’ their labels, without actually ‘greening’ the products themselves.  It was difficult to trust that the labels weren’t just trying to deceive me into believing they were actually good for me.  So I set out to do something completely different ~ create a skincare line that was actually packed with the good stuff and not just a pretty leaf on the outside.”
 
“It was in the spirit of being inspired, active, and adventurous women (and men), concerned with our impact on the environment and its impact on our skin, that Whistler Naturals came to be,“ says co-owner, Christie Angeloni. ”We don’t believe that to be environmentally conscious that we have to smell and look like we have been living in a tent, even if we have been.  We want to be beautiful and healthy, while keeping our bodies chemical free and not polluting our environment.”
 
With comparable product lines out there but only available in selective spas with price tags in the hundreds of dollars, Whistler Naturals has worked hard to keep a competitive price point in the skin care market making it possible for the average consumer to have fair access to good skincare.
